Common use of Seniority Dates Clause in Contracts

Seniority Dates. An employee’s seniority date will be the date of his or her first day of employment with the University. However, for employees who transfer into a PSE bargaining unit after the date of certification of that unit, the seniority date will be the first day of employment in a bargaining unit position.
