Common use of Service Disruption Clause in Contracts

Service Disruption. (a) We may temporarily suspend or restrict any Service: (i) if We believe it necessary to do so to comply with any law or an order or request of any Regulator; (ii) to protect any person, equipment or Our Network and/or to attend to any emergency; (iii) during any scheduled maintenance period; (iv) if the Service is an Internet Service, in the event that You breach the terms of our Acceptable Use Policy; or (v) if the Service is used in an excessive or unusual way (though We are not obliged to do so and You remain liable to pay for any Charges incurred for any excessive or unusual usage). (b) Unless otherwise stated in a Service Schedule, We will: (i) give You at least 3 days notice of scheduled maintenance that is likely to affect Your Service; and (ii) not carry out any scheduled maintenance between 08.00 – 18.00 on Business Days unless we agree.
