Common use of Service Order Changes Clause in Contracts

Service Order Changes. (a) In no event will Embarq change a CLEC initiated service order without a new service order directing said change. If an installation or other CLEC ordered work requires a change from the original CLEC service order in any manner, CLEC shall initiate a revised service order. If requested by CLEC, Embarq shall then provide CLEC an estimate of additional labor hours and/or materials. (b) When a service order is completed, the cost of the work performed will be reported promptly to CLEC. (c) If a CLEC subscriber requests a service change at the time of installation or other work being performed by Embarq on behalf of CLEC, Embarq, while at the subscriber premises, shall direct the CLEC subscriber to contact CLEC, and CLEC will initiate a new service order.
