Common use of Service Overview Clause in Contracts

Service Overview. The Service provided by BT comprises the standard equipment and support services detailed in this Service Schedule. 2.1 The Customer is responsible for providing suitable computer hardware, software and telecommunications equipment and services necessary to access and use the Service. 2.2 Where BT indicates to the Customer that the Back End is to be connected to a telecommunications network or circuit run by BT or a third party, it is the Customer’s responsibility to arrange for such connection to be made, to pay any connection charge and to comply with any conditions relating to connection. Service under this Contract does not include Back End connectivity. 2.2.1 The Customer must not add to, modify or in any way interfere with BT Equipment, nor allow anyone else (other than someone authorised by BT) for whom the Customer is responsible, to do so. The Customer will be liable to BT for any loss of or damage to BT Equipment except where such loss or damage is due to fair wear and tear or is caused by BT or anyone acting on BT’s behalf.
