Service Reduction. If a Participant has less than ten (10) years of service with the controlled group members, the highest average compensation limit otherwise defined and adjusted above (but not the Ninety Thousand Dollar limit) shall be reduced to an amount equal to the highest average compensation limit as otherwise defined and adjusted above multiplied by a fraction: (i) the numerator of which is the number of years (and part thereof) of service, and (ii) the denominator of which is ten (10).
