Common use of Service Start Date Clause in Contracts

Service Start Date. Upon installation, connection, testing and acceptance of the necessary facilities and equipment to provide the Services, Provider shall provide electronic notification to Customer that the Services are available for use, which date of electronic notification shall be called the “Service Start Date.” Any failure or refusal on the part of Customer to be ready to receive the Services on the Billing Date shall not relieve Customer of its obligation to pay applicable Service charges. The Term of Services under the MSA commences upon the Service Start Date and not the Effective Date.
