In the event that the Customer of record fails to give notice of termination of service to the Company or hinders the Company’s access to the meter, the Customer of record shall continue to be liable for service taken until the Company either disconnects the meter or a new Customer assumes responsibility for taking service at such service location. The Customer shall be liable for all costs incurred by the Company when the Customer prevents access to the Company’s equipment.
