Common use of Serving Notices Clause in Contracts

Serving Notices. A notice is only served properly if it is hand delivered, or sent by first class post, or by recorded or registered delivery. If the notice is posted, it will be treated as served two Working Days after the date it was posted. If it is delivered by hand after 5pm, it will be treated as being served on the next Working Day.
