SETTLEMENT OF DIFFERENCES. 20.01 The parties recognize that when dealt with constructively, differences can be a source of creativity. Employees are encouraged to surface any differences, so that problems can be clearly understood and promptly resolved. It is preferable that such problems be discussed and resolved between the employee and his immediate supervisor in order that an open and trusting relationship be maintained. Both parties agree to work toward this end.
