Settling Grievances. Prior to initiating the formal grievance procedure, the parties recognize that an ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ effort shall be made to resolve the problem in the employee's department. It is understood that any resolutions arrived at during this informal stage are non-precedent setting and non-binding on the parties.
