Common use of Severability; Amendments Clause in Contracts

Severability; Amendments. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Mortgage shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision, and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This Mortgage contains the entire agreement among the parties as to the rights granted and the obligations assumed in this Mortgage. This Mortgage may not be amended or modified except by a writing signed by the party against whom enforcement is sought.
