Common use of Severance of Terms Clause in Contracts

Severance of Terms. If any provision of this Agreement is or becomes or is declared invalid, unenforceable or illegal by the courts of any jurisdiction to which it is subject or by order of the Commission of the European Communities or by order of the Secretary of State, such invalidity, unenforceability or illegality shall not prejudice or affect the remaining provisions of this Agreement, which shall continue in full force and effect notwithstanding such invalidity, unenforceability or illegality.
