Sharing of data across a wide range of care disciplines may require:  More attention to informed consent from patients/service users.  Review of registration of databases with Data Protection Registrars, which may need amending to reflect the expanded use of the data collected.  Review of authentication of personnel accessing the shared data.  Analysis of any other legal issues arising from national legislation and regulations.
