Shareholder Servicing and/or Distribution Fees Sample Clauses
The Shareholder Servicing and/or Distribution Fees clause defines the fees that may be charged to a fund or its investors to cover the costs of providing shareholder services and distributing fund shares. These fees typically compensate intermediaries, such as brokers or financial advisors, for activities like maintaining shareholder records, processing transactions, or marketing the fund to new investors. By outlining the permissible fees and their intended uses, this clause ensures transparency in fund expenses and helps prevent hidden or excessive charges to investors.
