Shift Conditions. If the conditions are such that work on that particular job cannot be done within the said normal hours (7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), then eight (8) hours may be worked during any hours and may constitute a regular shift on that job. A premium of .067 of the regular straight time rate will be paid for each shift hour worked on a shift that cannot be done within the said normal hours except that on those shift hours which are worked between 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. a premium of .142 of the regular straight time rate will be paid. Shift premium will not be paid on any overtime hours worked. Overtime payment for shift work shall be in accordance with the provisions as set out above. The starting and quitting time of all shift work will be decided by the Contractor.
