Shift deferred. When an employee is advised 2 hours or more before start of a rostered working shift, that their start time has been changed to a later hour, the employee will be allowed one hour's pay. If the notice is less than 2 hours, the employee will be allowed 2 hours pay. The pay will be calculated at the rate applicable to the particular day and will not be taken into account for the purpose of calculation of overtime. Those employees covered by a spread of hours provision will be paid the appropriate overtime penalty rates for any altered hours outside of the 0600 to 1800 hours spread.
