Shift Designation. For the purposes of this Section, the night shift of the calendar day preceding the actual date of the regular holiday shall be considered Shift #1, the day shift of the regular holiday shall be Shift #2 and the p.m. shift of the regular holiday shall be Shift #3.
Shift Designation. The day shift shall be the first shift worked in each day, the afternoon shift shall be the second shift, and the night shift shall be known as the third shift in each calendar day.

Shift Differential Employees working an afternoon or night shift shall receive differential for all hours worked on the shift. Shift differential shall be per hour for afternoon shift; per hour for the night shift. Shift differential will apply overtime hours worked on an employee’s regularly scheduled work day. The shift differential which will be paid will be the shift differential for the shift within which the overtime is worked. Employees covered by Employer-Union approved flex-time or modified work week arrangements, who, by their own volition, choose to begin their shift at a time which qualifies them for shift differential, shall not be entitled to the differential. Hours and Overtime Rates Subject to the provisions of this Agreement, the application of hours of work and the application of and statutory holiday premium rates will be in accordance with the provisions laid out in the Component Agreements. Changes in Schedules Work schedules for regular employees and casual auxiliary employees shall posted at least calendar days in advance of the starting day of a new schedule. In the event that any such employee’s schedule of hours of work is without hours advance notice, and if such change is the result of another employee a benefit provided for by the provisions of the Agreement, such as sick leave, bereavement leave, or for reasons attributable to another employee, the employee will receive a premium of per hour for work performed in the first shift to which they changed, in addition to their regular pay. In the event that any such employee’s schedule of hours of work are changed the hours of work schedule has been posted, and if such change in schedule is the result of indiscriminate by the Employer, the employee shall receive pay at overtime rates for work performed on the shift to which they changed.
Shift Designation. Eleven and one-half (11 ½) hour shift in Chocolate Processing alternate work schedule shifts are referred to as; ▇▇, ▇▇, ▇▇, ▇▇. Employees will be compensated for an approved floating holiday for eleven and one half (11 ½) hours at their base rate. Vacation entitlement is determined by Article 18.02, such that employees who are granted and have taken a week of vacation are considered to have used a full week of vacation whether they are scheduled for two (2) days or five (5) days that week. When Chocolate Processing is operating on an “Alternate Work Schedule” (11½ hours) and leave is approved, such leave will be staffed in the following manner:
