Common use of Shift Employee Clause in Contracts

Shift Employee. by non-shift employee is a shift employee from time of call-out and accepts shift hours and working conditions and remains on shift until s/he completes a forty (40) hour week, completes the shift week or is released by the return of the Shift Employee; whichever comes first. Relief required on other than prearranged absence is supplied for day shift by non-shift employee and for evening or night shift by shift employee.
