Common use of Shift Payments Clause in Contracts

Shift Payments. An employee rostered to work night shift shall receive an additional payment for each hour of ordinary time worked during the night shift. The applicable shift payment shall be calculated as 23% of the employee’s ordinary hourly rate. This payment shall not be applied to overtime hours worked, or hours worked on a rostered day off.
