Shifts Defined. The night shift shall be defined as the shift where the majority of hours worked by an employee fall between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a. m. The day shift shall be defined as the shift where the majority of hours worked by an employee fall between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The afternoon shift shall be defined as the shift where the majority of hours worked by an employee fall between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
