Common use of Significant Change Clause in Contracts

Significant Change. A significant change is defined as the termination of this Agreement or the closing of a Contractor site that is providing services req uired under this Agreement. The Contractor must notify GCBH and impacted Individuals sixty (60) calendar days prior to the closure of the Contractor site. This notification must occur prior to any public announcement of this change. 7.1.1 If a Contractor site closure occurs in less than sixty (60) calendar days, the Contractor must notify GCBH as soon possible and prior to a public announcement. 7.1.2 The Contractor must notify all impacted Individuals at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the closure date. 7.1.3 The Contractor must notify the GCBH Contracts Coordinator of any other changes in capacity that results in the Contractor being unable to meet any of the time and distance standards as required in this Agreement. Events that affect capacity include: decrease in the number or frequency of a required service; employee strike or other work stoppage related to union activities; or any changes that result in the Contractor being unable to provide timely, Medically Necessary services. 7.1.4 If DS HS issues a stop placement of clients in a subcontracted treatment facility upon finding that a facility is not in substantial compliance with provisions of any WAC related to substance use disorder treatment, the Contractor must work with the treatment facility to GCBH Agreement No. 18516-00 transition care of any impacted Individuals.
