Common use of Smoke Detectors Clause in Contracts

Smoke Detectors. The Tenant acknowledges that it is an offence to tamper with, cover or remove any fire detector, smoke alarm or sprinkler. Fines will apply. The Tenant may not grant other person/s a license to occupy or use the whole or part of the premises for the Tenant’s commercial gain, whether by written or verbal agreement with the other person/s, without the lessor’s consent having first been obtained. The lessor must act reasonably.
