Software Maintenance Fee Clause Samples
The Software Maintenance Fee clause defines the requirement for the customer to pay a recurring fee for ongoing support, updates, and maintenance of the licensed software. Typically, this fee is charged annually or monthly and covers services such as bug fixes, security patches, and access to new software versions. By establishing this obligation, the clause ensures that the software remains up-to-date and functional, while also providing the vendor with a predictable revenue stream to support continued product improvement.
