Common use of Special Authorization Clause in Contracts

Special Authorization. The data importer may not delegate any of the processing activities carried out on behalf of the data importer pursuant to this Agreement to a sub-processor without the prior specific written authorization of the data controller. The data recipient shall submit the specific authorization request to the data controller at least [specify the period] prior to the assignment of the relevant sub-processor, together with the information necessary for the data controller's assessment of the authorization.
