Special Conference Cases Clause Samples

The 'Special Conference Cases' clause establishes procedures for handling cases that require unique or expedited attention within a conference or dispute resolution process. Typically, this clause outlines criteria for designating a case as 'special,' such as complexity, urgency, or the involvement of multiple parties, and may specify alternative timelines, additional resources, or modified procedural steps for these cases. Its core function is to ensure that atypical or high-priority cases are managed efficiently and fairly, addressing the need for flexibility in standard processes to accommodate exceptional circumstances.
Special Conference Cases. Notwithstanding the specific years-of-service or semesters-of-service requirements for an evaluation for renewal, there may be Employees who do not meet those requirements but could be eligible for such an evaluation due to the pattern of their employment with the University. The parties will meet in Special Conference to determine such Employees’ eligibility for a major review and presumption of renewal.
