Specific project purposes. To maximise the social and economic cohesion in the border area by encouraging contacts and co-operation at local and regional levels; • To develop the border area’s territory in a co-ordinated and integrated way between the two sides of the border, thus creating the basis for a sustainable economic development; • To stimulate regional cooperation and to establish local capacity and networks; • To facilitate the cross-border co-operation of regional actors and agencies in the areas of information, cultural exchange, education, health and social problem through the implementation of a Joint Small Project Fund.
