Speech-Language Pathologists. As a provider of a supportive service, the speech-language pathologist plays a major role in the diagnosis and remediation of speech and language disorders in the students enrolled for such services. The determination of eligibility for the provision of speech and language services is the responsibility of the state approved speech-language pathologist as is the development of the speech and language IEP.
