Common use of Stage II Clause in Contracts

Stage II. 5.2.2.1 If the grievance is not resolved at Stage I, the grievance may be referred to the Mediation Committee in writing by the grievor, the Union or the University. The purpose of the Committee is to resolve the grievance to the satisfaction of both parties. To this end, the Committee shall bring the parties together and shall actively pursue possible compromises without jeopardizing the rights of parties under the Agreement.
