STANDARDS, CODES, RULES AND REGULATIONS. Product shall be designed and assembled in accordance with all applicable industry standards. It will comply with all governmental regulations as they apply to the operation of the Chassis Cab, Truck Body or Upfitted Truck described in the specifications including, but not limited to, those listed below. If applicable, the appropriate decals indicating compliance shall be affixed to the Upfitted Truck. A. Product shall conform to any and all applicable New York State laws, regulations and directives, including but not limited to, New York Codes, Rules and Regulations (NYCRR), New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law (NYSVTL), and New York State Dept. of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV). B. Product shall comply with all current applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), National Highway Traffic and Safety (NHTSA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. C. Product shall comply with the regulations of the Federal Government and New York State (NYCRR) governing the control of air pollution from new motor vehicles and new motor vehicle engines in effect on the date of manufacture. STANDARDS, CODES, RULES AND REGULATIONS. Heavy Equipment shall comply with all applicable governmental regulations including, but not limited to, those listed below. If applicable, the appropriate decals indicating compliance shall be affixed to the Heavy Equipment. 1. New York State laws, regulations and directives, including but not limited to, New York Codes, Rules and Regulations (NYCRR), New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law (NYSVTL), and New York State Dept. of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV). 2. STANDARDS, CODES, RULES AND REGULATIONS. Unless otherwise noted, the Base Item and Optional Equipment Specifications listed are below are considered minimum specifications. Unless otherwise specified below, each School Bus and Optional Equipment bid shall meet the requirements of the latest amended regulations of New York Codes, Rules and Regulations (NYCRR), Title 17 Department of Transportation, Chapter VI Transportation Regulations, Subchapter D Motor Carriers of Passengers, Article 3 Safety, Part 720 Bus and Passenger Carrying Vehicle Safety Regulations and Part 721 Bus and Passenger Carrying Vehicle/Driver Operational Requirements.
