Common use of Standards for Collection Clause in Contracts

Standards for Collection. 2.2.1 Contractor shall only collect Refuse and Recyclable Materials placed in Approved Refuse Containers and Approved Recycling Containers. For any ineligible items or excessive quantity of refuse which the Contractor rejects for collection, the Contractor must provide written notice to the resident at the time of rejection in the form of stickers explaining why the ineligible items were rejected. Contractor shall provide Town with a daily report of any notices provided hereunder. Failure to comply with the requirements of this subsection will result in the imposition of penalties in accordance with the penalty provisions of 2.4.5 herein. 2.2.2 Contractor shall replace all single-family home Approved Containers back on to the owner's property in orderly fashion with lids on and in the same location they were placed by the owner prior to pick up. Failure to comply with the requirements of this subsection will result in the imposition of penalties in accordance with the penalty provisions of 2.4.5 herein.
