Common use of STANDARDS OF PRACTICE Clause in Contracts

STANDARDS OF PRACTICE. The Professional agrees that it will exercise the care and diligence expected and required by law of a comparably situated Professional in the application of its professional knowledge to accomplish the purpose for which it retained. The Professional represents that it has the experience, skill and knowledge to perform its responsibilities under the contract so as to attain the required standard of care and diligence. It is expressly agreed that any review or approval by the School District of the plans and/or specifications shall not diminish the Professional’s obligation to provide plans and specifications that are adequate and sufficient to accomplish the purposes of the project. The Professional hereby represents that it has adequate insurance coverage for Errors and Omissions, and that nothing within this Rider shall exclude reasonable protection for the Professional or the School District under the coverage provisions afforded by the Professional’s Insurance Policy.
