All Athletic Staff Members are expected to perform their duties and responsibilities on behalf of the University in a professional, competent and diligent manner th Athletic Staff Members, therefore, must conduct themselves and carry out their duties in a manner that fosters and promotes the high moral, ethical and academic standards of the University, as well as good sportsmanship. Recognizing that the primary mission of the University is to serve as an institution of higher education, Athletic Staff Members are expected to academic pursuits of student-athletes and to take all necessary steps to safeguard and promote the physical and mental well-being of student-athletes. For those Athletic Staff Members who supervise other staff or students, those members also shall take all necessary steps to ensure that those under their supervision adhere to these standards.
