Common use of Standards of Workmanship and Materials Clause in Contracts

Standards of Workmanship and Materials. Any reference in the Contract Documents to materials, equipment, systems or supplies (whether such references are in lists, notes, specifications, schedules, or otherwise) shall be construed to require the Project Company to furnish the same in accordance with the grades and standards therefor indicated in the Contract Documents. Where the Contract Documents do not specify any explicit quality or standard for construction materials or workmanship, the Project Company shall use only workmanship and new materials of a quality consistent with that of construction workmanship and materials that are specified elsewhere in the Contract Documents, and the Contract Documents are to be interpreted accordingly.
