Standards Selection Clause Samples

The Standards Selection clause defines the process and criteria for choosing which technical, industry, or regulatory standards will govern the work or deliverables under an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines who has the authority to select applicable standards, whether they must be mutually agreed upon, and how changes to standards are handled during the project. By clearly establishing the standards to be followed, this clause ensures consistency, compliance, and quality, while minimizing disputes over which benchmarks or requirements apply.
