STANDOFF. 30.1 When unable to proceed with his work, an Employer may elect to either layoff or standoff part or all of his crew. If an employee is stood off, the employee may elect to remain on standoff or be laid off. The Employer has an obligation to advise the employee the duration of the standoff.
