STATE ACCEPTANCE Sample Clauses

The State Acceptance clause defines the process by which a state entity formally reviews and approves the goods, services, or deliverables provided under a contract. Typically, this involves a specified period during which the state inspects the deliverables to ensure they meet contractual requirements, and may include procedures for notifying the vendor of acceptance or rejection. This clause ensures that the state only becomes obligated to pay or proceed with further obligations once it has verified that the deliverables conform to agreed standards, thereby protecting the state's interests and ensuring quality control.
