Statement of Intent Clause Samples

A Statement of Intent clause outlines the parties' mutual understanding and objectives at the outset of an agreement. It typically clarifies the purpose of the contract, the general goals both parties wish to achieve, and may set the tone for negotiations or future cooperation. By explicitly stating these intentions, the clause helps ensure that both sides are aligned on the contract's direction and reduces the risk of misunderstandings about the agreement's overall purpose.
