Common use of Stewards and Representation Clause in Contracts

Stewards and Representation. A. The employees covered by this Agreement will be represented by stewards and alternate stewards who will be active supervisory employees covered by this agreement. There will be a F.O.P. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for each watch at each facility/division. These stewards will be selected by the F.O.P. The alternate ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ will only become active in the event of the physical absence of the regular ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. B. The written list of stewards, alternates and officers shall be furnished to the Employer prior to the effective date for their assuming duties of office. The F.O.P. shall notify the Employer promptly of any changes of such F.O.P. stewards. No F.O.P. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall perform any F.O.P. work unless the F.O.P. has complied with this requirement. The list will indicate the specific area in which the stewards and alternates will function. C.
