Stipend Rate Sample Clauses

The Stipend Rate clause defines the specific amount or formula used to calculate periodic payments made to an individual, such as a contractor, intern, or trainee, for their services or participation. Typically, this clause outlines whether the stipend is paid weekly, monthly, or according to another schedule, and may specify conditions under which the rate can be adjusted, such as changes in duties or duration of engagement. Its core function is to ensure both parties have a clear understanding of compensation expectations, thereby preventing disputes over payment amounts and timing.

Therefore, the Parties agree that the stipend rates defined in the Collective Agreement be the minimum amount paid for teaching a course for these programs. More than the minimum amount may be paid depending on the program. UNB will provide AUNBT with the amounts of stipends paid to CAIs that exceed the Collective Agreement base stipend rate. In addition, UNB will provide AUNBT with its reasons for offering stipends in excess of the base stipend. These reasons may be provided on a program basis.
