Stock Ownership Guidelines and Retention Requirements Sample Clauses

The Stock Ownership Guidelines and Retention Requirements clause establishes rules for how much company stock certain employees or executives must own and how long they must retain it. Typically, this clause sets minimum ownership thresholds based on position or salary and may require that shares acquired through equity compensation be held for a specified period before they can be sold. Its core function is to align the interests of key personnel with those of shareholders, promoting long-term commitment and discouraging short-term decision-making.
