Common use of Student Help Clause in Contracts

Student Help. 23.1 It is agreed that between the dates of May 1st and Labour Day, as well as December 1st to December 23rd inclusive, Student Help may be hired under the following provisions: 1. No student will be hired while a permanent employee, who is willing to perform the job, is laid off. 2. No student shall replace a permanent employee. 3. No student shall work overtime until all permanent employees currently working have been asked. 23.2 The Company will have the right to hire temporary students outside of the dates specified in Article 23.1 to perform occasional non-production work such a painting, cleaning, etc.
