Student Performance Measures. Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the United Teachers of Dade agree to explore a co-developed alternative student performance measure via a pilot program during the 2020-2021 school year. Any selected pilot program would occur simultaneously with the current student performance measure model. The current model would be utilized for teachers’ summative evaluations. Any adopted alternative student performance measure pilot program must not result in expenditures (other than staffing), increased testing, or additional disruption to the direct instruction of students. Grant funds awarded to M-DCPS for this purpose after ratification may be expended on this project.
