STUDENT SAFETY. In an effort to eliminate students being left on buses due to drivers failing to walk their bus and/or complete pre/post inspections; the parties agree to the following progressive discipline steps: A. Any driver who is determined to have failed to complete a pre or post-trip inspections will receive an automatic one day unpaid suspension. B. Camera usage will not be allowed for the purpose of determining whether a pre or post-trip has been completed. C. Any driver who is determined to have left a student on a bus will receive a minimum ten (10) day unpaid suspension for the first occurrence. D. Any driver who is determined to have left a student on a bus a second time will be terminated.
