Sub-Domain Name Clause Samples

The Sub-Domain Name clause defines the rights and responsibilities regarding the use and management of internet sub-domain names associated with a primary domain. Typically, this clause specifies which party is authorized to create, use, or control sub-domains (such as "shop.example.com" or "support.example.com") and may outline procedures for requesting new sub-domains or restrictions on their use. Its core practical function is to ensure clarity and prevent disputes over the allocation and administration of sub-domain names within the scope of a business relationship.
