SUB-LETTING Sample Clauses

The Sub-Letting clause governs whether and under what conditions a tenant may lease all or part of the rented premises to another party. Typically, this clause outlines requirements such as obtaining the landlord’s written consent before sub-letting, and may specify criteria the landlord will use to approve or deny a sub-tenant. Its core function is to give the landlord control over who occupies the property, thereby protecting their interests and maintaining oversight of the premises.
