Common use of Subconsultant Clause in Contracts

Subconsultant. The Consultant shall not employ any subconsultant to perform any services in the scope of this project, unless the subconsultant is approved in writing by the City. Any approved subconsultant shall be paid by the Consultant.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Consultant is permitted to enter into subcontracts with an affiliated entity wholly-owned by the Consultant or its parent provided that any and all Subconsultants are required to, and agree to carry insurance and indemnify the City in the same manner as the Consultant is required to do under this Contract.
