Common use of Subcontract or Assignment Clause in Contracts

Subcontract or Assignment. Vendor shall not subcontract or assign any part of this Agreement without the prior written consent of the Board. In the event the Board approves the Vendor’s use of a subcontractor(s), the Vendor shall require the subcontractor(s) to maintain during the term of the Agreement insurance to the same extent required of the Vendor herein (see paragraph 9) unless any such requirement is expressly waived or amended by the Board in writing. The Vendor shall furnish the subcontractor’s certificate of insurance to the Board’s Contract Monitor immediately upon request.
