Subcontractors and Third Parties Sample Clauses

The 'Subcontractors and Third Parties' clause defines the rights and obligations of the contracting parties regarding the use of subcontractors or third-party service providers to fulfill contractual duties. Typically, this clause outlines whether prior consent is required before engaging subcontractors, sets standards for their performance, and clarifies that the primary party remains responsible for the work performed by these external entities. By establishing clear guidelines for subcontracting, the clause helps manage risk, ensures accountability, and prevents disputes over responsibility for third-party actions.
