Subcontracts With MBE/WBEs Clause Samples

The "Subcontracts With MBE/WBEs" clause requires that a portion of the work under a contract be subcontracted to Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs). This typically involves setting specific participation goals or requiring the contractor to make good faith efforts to engage qualified MBE/WBE subcontractors for certain tasks or services. By mandating or encouraging the inclusion of these businesses, the clause promotes diversity, equal opportunity, and broader economic participation within the project.
