Common use of Subgrantee Responsibilities of Work Clause in Contracts

Subgrantee Responsibilities of Work. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, the Parties agree that Subgrantee is solely responsible for: • Ensuring that Subgrantee meets all deadlines in approved plans and specifications; • Monitoring the progress of grant funded activities; • Reporting progress; • Providing for required construction permits and adequate construction inspection; • Promptly paying costs incurred for grant funded activities; • Monitoring contractors’ and/or Subgrantees’ compliance with Federal, State, and local requirements; and • Constructing and maintaining in good condition throughout the construction period a sign or signs, at the site of grant funded activities in a conspicuous place indicating that the Federal Government is participating in the activities.
